Additional Services
Bike Boxing for Travel $90+
Need your bike packed for a travelling or shipping? Don’t want to deal with yet another stressor piling up before your big trip? Regretting the choice to take your bike to Kazakhstan for a 3 month tour because you’ll have to figure out how to get your 38 pound (without bags) XL Surly Ogre into a box that you’re pretty sure was designed for a children’s bike?
We can professionally pack your bike for safe travels, either in a provided soft/hard-case, or a sturdy cardboard box.
Our standard charge for packing is $90 dollars, however if there are additional accessories (racks, fenders, baskets, etc...) that need removal to fit in a box, the charge may increase based on time.
Fender Installs $95-225$
Rain, muck, and road grime getting to you? Hoping to ride without the constant spray of wet sand and dirt leaving stripes on your back or spraying your friends? Recently grown fond of the classic look of french constructeur era bikes? Have you delved far too deep into the dark, misty cave of Jan Heine opinion pieces about how “bike fenders are essentially the same as moto gp fairings” and are you now stuck under a pile of textbooks about fluid dynamics and a homemade wind tunnel?
We can’t help you with that last one, but we can help you install a beautiful pair of fenders that will make your rides more comfortable, your friends both happy and jealous, and keep you and your drivetrain clean and dry.
“One Hour” of Labour $30-$125
Need a "medium" amount of work done? Book an appointment with us for one* hour of mechanics time!
(*maybe it ends up being more or less than an hour but nice round numbers sound nice)
This booking lets us dig into those medium jobs that are bigger than a flat fix but smaller than a tune up.

PS If you try to request a whole bunch of stuff in the notes, I will have to reach out to you and remind you that there’s only so much we can do in an hour and it will be a little uncomfortable and you may end up with a cancelled appointment and a mildly frustrated Service Manager.
Shimano Crank Safety Inspection - FREE
Shimano has put forward a Safety Notice and for all June 2012 - June 2019 Dura Ace and Ultegra cranks. If you have a set of R6800, R8000, R9000, R9100, or R9100-P cranks you can use this service to book your free inspection. If, after inspection, your crank is deemed non-compliant (potentially unsafe,) we will help you with all the steps required to get you riding safely again. We will inspect for damages, remove your crank, box and ship it to Shimano, receive your brand new replacement crank (and rings,) and install them too. Kissing Crows Cyclery, as a certified Shimano Service Center, is happy to facilitate all steps of this process and it will always be free of charge.
Some finer details:
All of our service packages feature a full assessment before any work is started so we can ensure the package you’ve selected is a good fit for your bikes condition and for your riding needs. The assessment also enables us to provide insight into any additional parts or labour costs that may be needed to get your bike running properly. A member of our service team will reach out on the day of your appointment, generally before 12:00 noon, with details once the assessment is complete. Please expect a call from our team on the day of your service. If the amount of work that the bike needs will take longer than the appointment, our team will provide an updated timeline.
All bikes for service appointments must be dropped off either on the day before the appointment, or at the latest, before 10:30 am on the morning of service. Bikes that show up after this cut-off may be rescheduled for a later date, subject to the service queue.
All service appointments require a $15 non-refundable deposit at time of drop off, which is applicable to your service bill. Please confirm in the intake form when booking that you understand that if you decline a Tune-Up Package service after your bike is assessed, this fee will be forfeit.
Any no shows will result require a $50 deposit before any future appointments are made.
