Jackie’s All-City Space Horse (49cm)

This is actually one of TWO custom bikes Jackie is getting done up by us at the shop; how rad is that?! This is a partial-build, with some select parts/accessories, and the groupset coming off of their titanium Kona, and it’s our first build on the new Space Horse Champagne Shimmer colour frame! This new build is Jackie’s all-rounder, a durable commuter, and a lively daily driver. While the Ultegra components (and the beautiful titanium Tubus rack,) are not new, there’s a lot of great KCC componentry on here as well. We are believers in the dynamo hub and fender gospel around here so this one features a full fender set and a SON Nabendynamo front hub (White Industries in the back,) laced up to Pacenti Brevet 700c wheels. While the Space Horse does fit 650b x 48mm without breaking a sweat, we opted for 700c on this build for a bit less rolling resistance and a faster overall footprint. Some of the fun accoutrement include the SimWorks Bubbly pedals, Chris King limited edition 2-tone headset, SimWorks and White Industries titanium and aluminum headset spacers, and the build is then rounded out with a full silver component set. It’s a proper kick-off to the new frameset colours landing in-store and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
