Tom’s Monē El Continente - L/XL

Tom is one of our all-time favourite folks to have in the shop and this has to be one of the most interesting and eclectic builds we’ve seen to date. There is so much amazing attention to detail here starting with this really interesting Monē frame. If you look closely you’ll see how the chainstays are split and slide out and in to tension the chain! This build is Tom’s new touring bike so he’s opted for a unique and boutique drivetrain. This build sports a Rohloff 14 speed internal gear hub and a SON dynamo up front. This makes for the pinnacle of durability and functionality. The hubs are laced up with Sapim CX Ray spokes to carbon rims for an added layer of strength. We’re super stoked on the rear Tumbleweed rack too! Honestly, there’s a million details to be excited about here so we’ll let the photography do it’s work. While this gallery is generally reserved for builds we’ve spec’d and built ourselves, Tom did this one up on his own; we only provided a handful of the parts for him. We feel this project is a great candidate for special consideration and as such are very happy to host it in our build gallery. We hope you feel the same way. We’re wishing nothing but happy pedalling and strong tailwinds to Natalie and Tom both on their late Summer and Autumn tours!

We did the photography for this set but Tom is an amazing photographer in his own right. We recommend you follow along with Tom (and Natalie!) on their adventures via Instagram at @Dirtsloth.
