Ian’s 50th Anniversary Ritchey Outback

!!! It only makes sense that our first bike with the Limited Edition Shimano GRX 810 Silver groupset is on a limited edition (50th anniversary,) Ritchey Outback! Mario worked on this with Ian to get the bike dialled in just right. A blend of retro styling and throwback colours with modern features makes this a beauty to ride and to look at. The wheels are Bitex hubs front and rear, Sapim spokes (with SimWorks x Hoshi brass nipples,) and polished Velocity Aileron disc rims. Those hoops roll on another limited edition product, the Panaracer Gravel King SS in the 2022 ‘Ginger’ colourway. The build is filled out with parts from Brooks, Salsa, Cane Creek, more Ritchey, and a litttttle bit of Blue Lug (check those pedals!) to finish off the job. Ritchey is a brand we’d like to see more of here in the shop. We’re such huge fans of Ritchey. There is something really inspiring about how they’ve managed to leverage their experience in the industry and their contribution to the heritage of American steel bikes, especially in the early days of mountain, and continue to put out inspired, well designed, high quality products that meet and exceed the expectations and demands of modern riders. Please enjoy this photoset of Ian’s 50th Anniversary Ritchey Outback custom build and let us know if you’d like to start on a project like this of your own!

Happy pedalling.
