Swift Campout 2026

JUNE 20th - JUNE 21st

Welcome back adventure bugs!!! And if this is your very first ride with us… an extra giant, sunshiney welcome to you :)

We are very excited to spend the Summer Solstice weekend together once again as official Swift Campout navigators, and even more excited to return to one of our all-time favorite overnighter destinations…

Porpoise Bay Provincial Park!!!

If you’re unfamiliar with Swift Campout, it’s a worldwide call to adventure from our friends at Swift Industries. It’s a celebration of bikes, community, and heading outdoors for a night beneath the stars. If you’re riding 20km or 200km, the idea is simple… pack up your bike, pedal somewhere cool, and sleep outside.

Now for those of you scratching your heads wondering “wait… where exactly IS Porpoise Bay?” … excellent question. It’s tucked away on the Sunshine Coast!!! Which means, yes… ferries, ocean views, winding coastal roads, tiny roadside snack stops, and maximum SUMMER MAGIC. The journey out there is half the fun.

Along the way we’ll be making our classic and beloved stop at Persephone Brewing. Expect delicious food, cold drinks, chickens wandering around, fields to frolic through, and generally immaculate vibes. We’ll also roll through Roberts Creek for a sweet little cafe stop and a chance to stretch the legs before continuing onward to camp.

Porpoise Bay is truly one of our favorite beginner friendly bikepacking routes. There are lots of resupply options along the way, reliable cell service, manageable mileage, and climbs that are very doable with a little patience and a lot of snack breaks. That said, we do recommend coming prepared to spend a full day riding and feeling comfortable handling your bike while loaded up with gear.

Most importantly, this trip is about FUN FIRST. It’s about jumping in the water, making new pals, eating treats on the beach, cheering each other up hills and celebrating the weird and wonderful joy of getting somewhere by bike.

Please find all the nitty gritty trip details, logistics, and FAQs at the bottom of this page.

We cannot WAIT to adventure with you all!!!

What if I have an issue with my bike while on the group ride?

All riders are responsible for bringing the tools and supplies needed to repair their own bike. KCC Ride Staff will carry some tools and supplies and are happy to help, but we can’t carry everything needed for every potential bike repair. It would be wise to give your equipment a good look over before the trip, and if need be you can book a service appointment here ->> KCC Service Booking.

Our final stop will be at the Independent Grocery store in Sechelt for a quick resupply before heading into camp.
