We live in a time when expedited shipping services are no longer just a perk, they’re an expectation. While that convenience is great from a consumer perspective, the negative implications for people and the planet far outweigh the positive.

As a small, living-wage business, we don’t cut corners, especially when it comes at the expense of our employees and our values. Compromising our belief system to expedite orders isn’t something we’re willing to do. We operate with very limited resources compared to our Amazon-like counterparts, and that means we can’t provide the same guarantees.

Our timelines are estimates, based on more than 15 years of operational experience. We balance factors like supplier availability, warehouse locations, and minimum cart requirements to get our customers their special orders within the best possible timeframe. We usually get it right, but the reality is that things can change, and when they do, the timeline we initially provide can change with them.

We’d love to be the shop that helps you get the bike or special component you’ve had your heart set on. In return, we simply ask for a little understanding and grace when it comes to timelines. A timeline is an estimate and, sometimes, a maneuverable thing.

We’d rather be upfront about what we can realistically deliver than make promises we can’t keep. That may mean we aren’t always the fastest option, but it means we can stand behind how we do business, how we treat our employees, and the values we’ve built our shop around.
